a 2022 NYCxDesign Winner in the student design category, Energrow is an at-home carbon capture and biofuel system in collaboration with living algae. this family of objects consists of a bioreactor, an oil press and an oil lamp. microalgae are single celled organisms which can capture carbon up to 200 times more than trees. they photosynthesize like plants and can be used as a food source and for biofuel.
